My favorite page from More Than Meets the Eye.

I'm sorry the scan quality is low (you can see where I used white poster paint, painted black, etc...).... It doesn't look that bad in reality, and it looks /great/ in black and white photocopies, which was more important.

Here, Amber discovers that Audrey is a higher grade than her, is disappointed, and reacts when she hears someone calling for Audrey somewhere behind her.

I love this page for the last panel. Oh, I had SO much fun working on that panel!! Using masking tape, making speed lines, yade yade... The eyes may look huge, but I don't really care...

By the way, I really really liked the fact that the kids all responded when they realized that this is the first time that they see me draw "eyes". And that in fact Amber is crying. Of course I kind of forgot that 6th graders may or may not be able to understand 'crying' from disappointment and such so I had to explain it a little, but either way... x)

On a side note, I apologize if my use of crosshatching is awful- I didn't even know what crosshatching /was/ until this project. Self-learning is difficult, hnn?

Wow yeah, I guess some sixth graders wouldn't really have had much cause to cry from disappointment! Interesting!

Speaking of those amazing eyes, the pupils are so very intriguing and their placement is awesome!

Sorry I keep commenting on all of your stuff, lol oh well, I can't help it... :3
